Telycardia malinka
Taxonomy
Telycardia malinka was named by Kříž (2005). Its type specimen is MGM 3547a S, a shell (internal mould of right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section north-west of the El Pobo de Dueñas, which is in a Telychian coastal shale in the Bádenas Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Telycardia.

| J. Kříž 2005 | Very small, obese, equivalved and inequilateral prosocline shells. Prosogyrate umbones in central position. Outer and inner surface sculpture formed of prominent radial ribs broadening ventrally. Radial gutters flat, wide gutters alternating with narrower gutters. Radial ribs form pairs as a result of this alternation. In the wider gutters narrow growth bands and furrows curved dorsally are rarely preserved. Hinge line straight, relatively long. Low triangular area. |
