Taxonomy
Eurites was named by Kusina (1973) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u Sepkoski's reference number: 954]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Goniatitida by Sepkoski (2002); to Rotopericyclinae by Ebbighausen et al. (2010), Korn et al. (2010); and to Muensteroceratidae by Korn (2006), Furnish et al. (2009), Konovalova (2015).
