Taxonomy

Ingentidens was named by Li and Cheng (1999). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Chroniosuchidae by Li and Cheng (1999), Li (2001).

Species

I. corridoricus

Synonyms

Ingentidens corridoricus was named by Li and Cheng (1999). Its type specimen is IGCAGS V 363, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dashankou locality, which is in a Roadian/Wordian fluvial mudstone in the Qingtoushan Formation of China.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Buchwitz et al. (2012).
