Weigeltisaurus jaekeli
Taxonomy
Palaeochamaeleo jaekeli was named by Weigelt (1930). Its type specimen is SSWG 113/7, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mansfeld mining district, which is in a Wuchiapingian offshore claystone in the Werra Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Coelurosauravus jaekeli by Evans and Haubold (1987); it was recombined as Weigeltisaurus jaekeli by Kuhn (1939), Evans (1982), Bulanov and Sennikov (2015).
