Bolosaurus striatus
Taxonomy
Bolosaurus striatus was named by Cope (1878). Its type specimen is AMNH 4320, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mount Barry, 12 (Admiral Formation), which is in an Artinskian terrestrial shale in the Admiral Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Bolosaurus.
