Pseudagathiceras was named by Schindewolf (1931) [Sepkoski's age data: P Guad-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Agathiceras wichmanni.
It was assigned to Goniatitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Adrianitinae by Leonova and Bogoslovskaya (1990), Leonova (2002), Korn (2006), Furnish et al. (2009).
