Thadeosaurus colcanapi
Taxonomy
Thadeosaurus colcanapi was named by Carroll (1981). Its type specimen is MNHN (PM) 1908-11-13/1908-11-19, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart of skeleton without skull), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Mt. Eliva (Sakamena Fm.), which is in a Lopingian terrestrial horizon in the Lower Sakamena Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Thadeosaurus.
