Punctaconchus ampliporus

Taxonomy
Punctaconchus ampliporus was named by Vinn and Taylor (2007). Its type specimen is NHM A12009(1), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Foss Cross Quarry, Gloucestershire, which is in a Bathonian/Bathonian sand shoal limestone in the White Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Punctaconchus.
