Obnixia thaynesiana
Taxonomy
Terebratula thaynesiana was named by Girty (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 7406 green, Montpelier Canyon, which is in a Spathian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Obnixia thaynesiana by Hoover (1979) and Hofmann (2013).
