Aviculopecten kaibabensis

Taxonomy

Aviculopecten kaibabensis was named by Newell (1938). Its type specimen is KUMIP 361.1,361.2 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Padre Canyon highway, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.
