Tomiopsis oviformis
Taxonomy
Spirifera oviformis was named by M'Coy (1847). Its type specimen is SM E10649 and is a mold. Its type locality is Barraba (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Muree Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Martiniopsis oviformis by Laseron (1910); it was recombined as Ingelarella oviformis by McClung (1978); it was recombined as Tomiopsis oviformis by Clarke (1987).
