Taxonomy
Celyphia permica was named by Belyaeva (1991). Its type specimen is DVGU 8B coll. 143-B slide 2-Y and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nakhodka Quarry, Collection 143, Primorye, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Lyudyanza Formation of the Russian Federation.
