Arctomeekoceras was named by Popov (1962) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-u Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant.
It was assigned to Meekoceratidae by Kummel (1969) and Tozer (1981); to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Proptychitidae by Tozer (1994) and Brayard et al. (2009).
