Taxonomy
Dzhulfoceras was named by Ruzhencev (1962) [Sepkoski's age data: P Djhu Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Dzhulfoceras furnishi.

It was assigned to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); to Araxoceratidae by Ehiro (2001), Leonova (2002); and to Araxoceratinae by Korn (2006).
