Taxonomy
Dyscritella speciosa was named by Morozova (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3947/466 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pervaya Savina River, Collection 15049, Novaya Zemlya, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Gerkinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
