Taxonomy
Nassichukites was named by Tozer (1979) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nori-u Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. Its type is Nassichukites dimidiatus.

It was assigned to Metasibiritidae by Tozer (1979), Tozer (1981); to Thetiditidae by Tozer (1994); and to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002).
