Castelloceras arennigense
Taxonomy
Castelloceras arennigense was named by Evans (2005). Its type specimen is NMW 88.30G.37, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Dan-lan-y-castell Quarry, Llangynog, which is in a Moridunian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Ogof Hen Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Castelloceras.
