Taxonomy
Neptunella sulciconcentrica was named by Astafieva (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 4397-20, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Burin-Khan-Obo Mountain, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Uldza Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Neptunopecten sulciconcentrica by Astafieva (2001).
