Taxonomy
Pseudoceltites was named by Hyatt (1900) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-l Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant. Its type is Celtites multiplicatus.

It was assigned to Paranannitidae by Kummel (1969); to Xenodiscidae by Tozer (1981); to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Kashmiritidae by Spath (1934), Brühwiler and Bucher (2012).
