Taxonomy
Stenopopanoceras was named by Popov (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Anis-l Tr Anis-m Sepkoski's reference number: 302]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Ceratitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Parapopanoceratidae by Tozer (1981), Tozer (1994), Zakharov et al. (2015).
