Taxonomy
Lytoceras (Kossmatella) aurarium was named by Anderson (1938). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Gaudryceras aurarium by Murphy (1956); it was recombined as Eogaudryceras aurarium by Murphy (1967); it was recombined as Anagaudryceras aurarium by Imlay (1960) and Alabushev (1995).
