Taxonomy
Goniocladia regularis was named by Sakagami (1998). Its type specimen is NSM PA14060 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Joseph Henry, Block LB-2, Ellesmere Island, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in Canada.
