Taxonomy
Permoheloclema merum was named by Ozhgibesov (1983). Its type specimen is PIN 3947/86 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Savina River, Savinskaya Formation, Novaya Zemlya, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Savinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
