Taxonomy
Timorites uddeni was named by Miller and Furnish (1940). Its type specimen is SUI 1403 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Captain James Ranch, eastern end, Altuda Mountain, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Altuda Formation of Texas.
