Mortoniceras (Mortoniceras) arietiforme
Taxonomy
Elobiceras arietiforme was named by Spath (1922) [DISTRIBUTION: Albian.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Catumbella (Couches à Schloenbachia inflata), which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Cabo Ledo Formation of Angola.
It was recombined as Pervinquieria arietiformis by Haas (1942); it was recombined as Mortoniceras (Mortoniceras) arietiforme by Renz (1982).
