Taxonomy
Neopulchellia brundrettei was named by Young (1958). Its type specimen is TMM 10734, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Forbesiceras brundrettei by Young (1979), Kennedy and Cobban (1993) and Kennedy and Klinger (2008).
