Taxonomy
Vauxia magna was named by Rigby (1980). Its type specimen is KUMIP 111763, an other, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Box Elder County [Spence Shale Mbr, Lead Bell Shale Fm], which is in a Delamaran marine shale in the Lead Bell Shale Formation of Utah.
