Taxonomy
Streblopteria minuta was named by Pagani (2006). Its type specimen is MLP 29784, a valve (Left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Cerro Bayo, 3 km W, which is in a Bashkirian/Moscovian marine siliciclastic in the Las Salinas Formation of Argentina.
