Daubichites fortieri
Taxonomy
Pseudogastrioceras fortieri was named by Harker (1960). Its type specimen is GSC 13772, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 26406, Lyall River, Grinnell Peninsula, Devon Island, which is in a Roadian offshore shelf sandstone/limestone in the Assistance Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Daubichites fortieri by Nassichuk (1970), Leonova (2002).
