Taxonomy
Rhabdiferoceras annuliferum was named by Flower (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 139851, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM locality 2175, which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in Nevada.
