Rioceras nondescriptum
Taxonomy
Rioceras nondescriptum was named by Flower (1964). Its type specimen is RHF 856 to 861 (syntypes), a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Mud Springs Mountain (Victorio Fm.), which is in a Demingian shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Victorio Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Rioceras.
