Rioceras depressum
Taxonomy
Rioceras depressum was named by Flower (1964). Its type specimen is NMBM 882, a shell (partial phragmocone), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Rhodes Canyon (1st endoceroid zone), which is in a Demingian perireef or subreef grainstone in the Cooks Formation of New Mexico.
