Taxonomy
Lambeoceras montrealense was named by Flower (1952). It is a cast. Its type locality is Île Jésus, Montreal ("Terrebonne Fm."), which is in a Shermanian/Edenian deep subtidal shelf limestone/shale in the Tetreauville Formation of Canada.
