Probillingsites inflatus
Taxonomy
Probillingsites inflatus was named by Flower (1952). Its type specimen is a specimen in the NYSM, a partial shell (living chamber and two attached camerae), and it is a cast. Its type locality is South Sandy Creek at Wardwell, which is in a Shermanian/Edenian carbonate limestone in the Cobourg limestone Formation of New York.
