Taxonomy
Nacella (Patinigera) reicheae was named by DeVries (2007). Its type specimen is UWBM 98645, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DV 611a-1, Cerro Poroma, which is in a Burdigalian coastal sandstone in the Chilcatay Formation of Peru.
