Taxonomy
Paldoceras neptunsakerense was named by Kröger et al. (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NRM-PZ Mo 161118, a shell. Its type locality is Hälludden cliff section (upper part of Gillberga Fm.), which is in a Hunderum/Valaste deep subtidal shelf wackestone in the Gillberga Formation of Sweden.
