Neosimnia puana
Taxonomy
Ovula (Neosimnia) puana was named by Anderson (1929). Its type specimen is CAS 4626, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 351, Near Punta Pua [Tubará Fm], which is in a Miocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.
It was recombined as Neosimnia puana by Hendy et al. (2008).
