Sactorthoceras banestanensis
Taxonomy
Sactorthoceras banestanensis was named by Dastanpour et al. (2006). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMW 2003.8G.1, a partial shell (partial phragmocone). Its type locality is Both sides of dry river bed, ~300 m north of track, ¾ km WNW Banestan, which is in a Cheneyan carbonate limestone in the Katkoyeh Formation of Iran.
