Spyroceras damesi
Taxonomy
Orthoceras damesii was named by Krause (1877). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MB C.862 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Erratic block from the Vistula River, Bydgoszcz, which is in a Pridoli shallow subtidal limestone in the Beyrichienkalk Formation of Poland.
It was recombined as Spyroceras damesi by Dzik and Kiselev (1995).
