Taxonomy
Vaginoceras grabaui was named by Kobayashi (1927). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMUT PM631 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Makkol, which is in a Llanvirn marine shale/limestone in the Jigunsan Formation of South Korea.
It was recombined as Kotoceras grabaui by Kobayashi (1934), Yun (1999).
