Sorinoceras costatum
Taxonomy
Sorinoceras costatum was named by Flower (1963). Its type specimen is NM Bureau Mines 890 and is a mold. Its type locality is Cloudcroft Highway 24 Roadcut, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the San Andres Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Sorinoceras.
