Archboldiceras whitehousei
Taxonomy
Uraloceras whitehousei was named by Armstrong et al. (1967). Its type specimen is GSQ F10555, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3127, middle strike ridge, Homevale, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Archboldiceras whitehousei by Leonova and Shilovsky (2007).
