Wright et al. 1996Small, evolute, with strongly tuberculate inner whorls; siphonal tubercles normally disappearing early, then ventrolaterals; umbilical tubercles may persist; body chamber with strong, well-spaced ribs; ribs single, or branching at umbilical tubercles or edge, or long and short, and uninterrupted on evenly rounded venter. Strongly dimorphic; macroconchs commonly twice the size of microconchs
