Taxonomy
Mccluskiceras comstockense was named by Kröger and Landing (2008). Its type locality is NYSM locality 5928, which is in a Stairsian shallow subtidal reef rocks/limestone in the Rochdale Formation of New York. It is the type species of Mccluskiceras.
