Taxonomy

Hamulinites was named by Paquier (1900) [Sepkoski's age data: K Barr-l K Barr-u]. Its type is Hamulina munieri.

It was assigned to Ancyloceratidae by Kakabadze and Hoedemaeker (1997); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Leptoceratoididae by Klein et al. (2007), Marin et al. (2023).

Synonyms

Eoleptoceras was named by Manolov (1962). Its type is Crioceras (Leptoceras) parvulum.

It was synonymized subjectively with Hamulinites by Klein et al. (2007).

It was assigned to Leptoceratinae by Manolov (1962).
