It was assigned to Sarcopterygii by Young et al. (1992); to Rhipidistia by Dineley and Metcalf (1999); to Rhizodontimorpha by Long (2011); to Rhizodontida by Nelson et al. (2016); and to Sarcopterygii by Smirnova (2022).
