Batrachosuchus browni
Taxonomy
Batrachosuchus browni was named by Broom (1903). Its type specimen is SAM 5868, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aliwal North Area, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Batrachosuchus.
