Pelodosotis elongatum
Taxonomy
Pelodosotis elongatum was named by Carroll and Gaskill (1978). Its type specimen is UMMP 11156, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coffee Creek, 34 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas.
