Salenia cascadensis

Taxonomy
Salenia cascadensis was named by Linder et al. (1988). Its type specimen is UCMP 38194, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Butte Creek [Abiqua Mbr, Scotts Mills Fm], which is in a Chattian shallow subtidal limestone in the Scotts Mills Formation of Oregon.
