Namapoikia rietoogensis

Taxonomy
Namapoikia rietoogensis was named by Wood et al. (2002). Its type specimen is GSN F623 Namibia and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rietoog, Driedoornvlagte pinnacle reef complex, which is in an Ediacaran reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Zaris Formation of Namibia. It is the type species of Namapoikia.
